International, September 15 : Recently, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Chinese president, and chairman of the Central Military Commission, sent a letter to all members of “Zhangzhou 110” in Fujian Province. In the letter, he encouraged them and expressed his expectations that they would perform their duties even better in the future.

In the letter, Xi Jinping said that “Zhangzhou 110” is a shining example of China’s public security system and has left a deep impression on him. He said police officers have been working hard on the front line of grassroots public security to serve the people and safeguard their safety, earning widespread praise. He expressed his satisfaction with their efforts.

Xi Jinping said that safeguarding the people’s well-being and ensuring the security of the country and its people are important responsibilities of the public security forces. He expressed hope that all police officers in China would remain committed to their fundamental pledge to serve the people, carry forward their fine traditions, and perform their duties with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication.

He further said police officers must sincerely and diligently help resolve the problems faced by the people and fulfill their responsibilities to safeguard peace and security in every family and in society. At the same time, they must serve as loyal guardians of security to the Communist Party of China and the people.

“Zhangzhou 110” is now officially known as the Zhangzhou 110 Branch of the Zhangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau in Fujian Province. Since 1990, the institution has continuously innovated and improved its 110 emergency police service and rapid-response system.

“Zhangzhou 110” has played an important role in combating crime, maintaining public security, and serving the people. It is regarded as a representative and outstanding grassroots unit within China’s public security system.
