Launch of Bangladesh`s First Indigenous Chicken Brand "Grameen Protein"

MT Desk: Bangladesh witnessed the official launch of its first indigenous chicken brand, "Grameen Protein," on April 30. The corporate journey began with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by the brand`s Founder & CEO, Mr. Md. Emran, with Mr. Md. Soherab Hossain Mehedi, Founder & CEO of Bestbazar, as the chief guest.
 
Commitment to Elevate Local Resources to National Level: The "Grameen Protein" brand will directly source native chickens from *Kolmakanda, Durgapur, and Purbadhala regions of Netrokona district, including hilly areas*, and supply them to Dhaka. This initiative aims to strengthen the rural economy while delivering *natural and nutrient-rich indigenous chicken* to urban consumers.
 
A New Era of Health Consciousness and Nutrition: Indigenous chickens are rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals, making them highly beneficial for health. "Grameen Protein" is committed to ensuring these nutritional benefits and providing a reliable product to health-conscious consumers* across the country.
 
Founder`s Statement: Mr. Md. Emran, CEO of the brand, said, "Our goal is to bring village-produced native chickens to urban doorsteps. We want every family to have access to healthy and nutritious food."
 
Future Plans: "Grameen Protein" plans to expand its supply network to other regions of the country and enhance product quality through processing.
 
Expert Opinion: Agricultural Economist Professor Dr. Md. Sadrul Amin* remarked, "Such initiatives will open new economic horizons for Netrokona district. With rising demand for our native chickens in Dhaka, poultry farming interest is growing in every rural household, fostering economic self-reliance."
