Relief Will Come to the Nation Once Tarique Rahman Returns : S.A. Jinnah Kabir
  Date : 08-09-2025

Kamrul Hasan: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman and Deshnayak Tarique Rahman is returning to the country very soon. Upon his return, the restoration of independence, constitution, and democracy will become a reality, said S.A. Jinnah Kabir — a member of BNP’s National Executive Committee, former General Secretary of Manikganj District BNP, senior member of the district convening committee, and the BNP candidate for Manikganj-1 constituency.

He made these remarks on Monday (September 8) while addressing a mass communication, leaflet distribution, and street meeting program as the chief guest at Barongail Hat area of Shibaloy upazila.

S.A. Jinnah Kabir said, “The country is facing an extreme crisis of democracy today. People are deprived of their basic rights, and misrule is prevailing in every sector, from the judiciary to the administration. Once Deshnayak Tarique Rahman returns, the people will once again feel relief and confidence. He is not just a leader of BNP, but a symbol of hope and aspirations for the entire nation.”

He further said, “The ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ is the symbol of freedom and democracy. If the Sheaf of Paddy wins in the upcoming national election, Deshnayak Tarique Rahman will become the Prime Minister, which has been the long-standing demand of the people.”

Regarding the current political situation, he stated, “To thwart the expectations of 180 million people, a vested group is creating chaos nationwide in an attempt to sabotage the election. This can never be beneficial for the nation. Therefore, we must unite, resist these evil forces, and ensure the victory of the Sheaf of Paddy.”

Calling Manikganj a stronghold of BNP, he urged, “To implement the 31-point program and ensure national welfare, leaders, activists, and general people must build united public opinion to secure BNP’s victory in every seat of Manikganj.”

Local farmer Nurul Islam said, “We villagers just want to live in peace. Currently, we are not getting fair prices, we suffer from electricity problems, and the skyrocketing prices in the market are crushing us. We believe that once Tarique Rahman returns, these issues will change.”

Young voter Sohel Rana said, “There are very few opportunities for employment for our generation. We believe under Tarique Rahman’s leadership, new job opportunities will be created and education and technology will improve. That’s why we are united in supporting the Sheaf of Paddy.”

Female voter Rokeya Khatun said, “Women’s safety, education, and healthcare are neglected now. We consider Tarique Rahman as a leader with modern vision. When he returns, we believe there will be major changes for women’s rights.”

Present at the event were Kazi Mustaq Hossain Dipu, convenor of Manikganj District Jubo Dal, Masudur Rahman Masud, senior vice president of District Krishak Dal, along with leaders of BNP and its associated bodies. Later, they took part in leaflet distribution and mass communication activities.
