Shahadat Hossain runs for REHAB VP post

Staff Correspondent: Mohammad Shahadat Hossain has announced his candidacy for the vice president (finance) post in the 2026–2028 election of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh.

The election will take place on 18 April.

Shahadat, managing director of James Developments Limited, said he will ensure transparency in financial management, adopt effective budget planning for members’ welfare and work for sustainable growth in the housing sector if elected.

He added that he plans to strengthen the organisation’s financial structure and protect members’ interests through practical initiatives.

Mohammad Shahadat Hossain earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Chittagong. He began his career in the banking sector before venturing into various business sectors, including real estate, construction, trading, interior design, and property.

He possesses over 15 years of experience in business management. He believes that a combination of transparency, efficiency, and innovative thinking plays a crucial role in advancing an industrial sector.

Shahadat Hossain’s late father, Shamsul Islam, was a renowned Language Movement veteran known for his honesty and integrity.

His voter number in the REHAB election is 265. He has sought the support and prayers of the members.
