Chapainawabganj Correspondent: A meeting was held to expand `Halde Pakhi` in government primary schools in Chapainawabganj. The meeting was organized by the District Girl Guides Association with the funding of the Department of Primary Education, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday afternoon.
The meeting was chaired by District Commissioner of the District Girl Guides Association Shahnaz Begum and the chief guest was Deputy Commissioner Abu Saleh Md. Musa Jangi. Acting District Education Officer Md. Abdul Matin and District Primary Education Officer Md. Saiful Islam were present as special guests in the exchange of views.
Shahnaz Begum, District Commissioner of the District Girl Guides Association, discussed in detail about `Halde Pakhi` in the exchange of views.
Among others who spoke were Faruka Begum, local commissioner of the District Girl Guides Association, Latifa Khatun, head teacher of Model Government Primary School, Shilpi Parveen, head teacher of Rahmania Government Primary School and others.
Principals and assistant teachers of various schools were present at the meeting. Zainab Begum, member of the District Girl Guides Association, presented the program.
In the meeting, special emphasis was placed on strengthening the Halde Pakhi program to develop the latent talents of young students in primary schools and build moral character, and a plan was taken to form a `Halde Pakhi` team from among the students from third to fifth grade in every primary school.
