International: The 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair officially opened on Thursday in Shenzhen, located in south China’s Guangdong Province.
The five-day event is highlighting the development of cultural industries, with a total of 6,312 exhibitors participating through both online and offline platforms. More than 120,000 cultural products are being showcased at the fair.
A total of eight exhibition halls have been set up at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. Among them is a special hall dedicated to cultural industry innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
For the first time this year, the fair has also introduced a dedicated exhibition zone for APEC economies, featuring achievements in cultural tourism across the Asia-Pacific region. The area is displaying regional specialty products, creative cultural items inspired by intangible cultural heritage, and a variety of local cuisines.
Shenzhen is also scheduled to host the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting later this November.
Established in 2004, the fair has grown into one of China’s leading cultural events and has become an important platform for promoting Chinese culture globally.
