DBCCI to pave the way for SME entrepreneurs to access global markets: Khaled Mosharof Hosen Chowdhury
  Date : 14-07-2026

Altaf khan: The Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI) will play a pivotal role in creating boundless opportunities for local Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs to penetrate the highly competitive global market, stated prominent business leader, FBCCI member & Dutch Bangla Chamber`s Member Khaled Mosharof Hosen Chowdhury (Rana).

Speaking at a recent industrial discussion, Mr. Khaled Chowdhury highlighted that the country’s economic sustainability relies heavily on transforming grassroots micro-enterprises into international trade actors. He emphasized that DBCCI is actively acting as a strategic bridge between Bangladeshi manufacturers and European consumers.
"SMEs are the backbone of our economy, but they often struggle to scale up internationally due to a lack of technical compliance and direct networking," said Khaled Mosharof Hosen Chowdhury. "The Dutch-Bangla Chamber is shifting this paradigm by providing grassroots entrepreneurs with direct access to advanced Dutch technology, knowledge-sharing platforms, and international supply chain networks."
Bridging Tech and Trade
The business leader pointed out that European markets, especially the Netherlands, hold immense potential for Bangladeshi agricultural products, ready-made garments, leather goods, and the fast-growing ICT sector. By utilizing DBCCI’s business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking sessions and outbound trade missions, even small-scale producers can now display their innovations directly to Western buyers.
Furthermore, DBCCI`s initiatives in technology transfer—particularly in automated agro-processing and sustainable cold chain management—are expected to elevate local production standards to meet strict European Union quality guidelines.
Empowering Grassroots Ecosystems
Mr. Khaled Chowdhury also lauded DBCCI’s focus on structural support, noting that the chamber helps simplify complex export-import licensing and legal procedures for newcomers. Special emphasis is also being placed on empowering women entrepreneurs by linking them with European funding networks and global mentorship programs.
"With proper global market exposure, our local SME sector can drive unprecedented export growth. DBCCI remains fully committed to ensuring that our ordinary businessmen are well-equipped to trade boldly on the global stage," Khaled Mosharof Hosen Chowdhury concluded.
