Amaranjan Majumder : On Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner`s Office, the Youth Volunteer Award-2026 and grant distribution program was simultaneously inaugurated in 64 districts by Mr. Tareq Rahman, MP, Prime Minister, Government of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh.

As part of the grant distribution, the cheque distribution ceremony in Pirojpur district was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Mr. Golam Rabbani. The program was organized by the District Administration and the Department of Youth Development, Pirojpur, Ministry of Youth and Sports.

From the Youth Welfare Fund of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, a grant of Tk. 75,000 (Seventy-five thousand Taka) allocated as a project-based grant for "Vegetable Cultivation" in favor of youth organizations selected in the special category for the fiscal year 2025-2026 was received as a replica cheque as a sample for direct deposit through EFT by Tanni Roy, General Secretary of Jubo Amar Smrity Pathagar.

Present were Md. Abdul Hai Mallik, Officer of the Department of Youth Development, Pirojpur District, Syed Azmal Hossain, Upazila Youth Development Officer, Bhandaria, Amaranjan Majumder, Founder of Jubo Amar Smrity Pathagar, and members of the Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner`s Office along with distinguished guests of Pirojpur district.

It is noteworthy that from 2024 to 2026 (ongoing), Jubo Amar Smrity Pathagar has so far, with the cooperation of the Pirojpur District Department of Youth Development and Bhandaria Upazila Department of Youth Development, provided training to 150 boys and girls aged 18-35, and 10 of them participated in Computer and Freelancing training courses in Pirojpur. Jubo Amar Smrity Pathagar has provided family loans to 120 members.

Under the slogans "Role of Parents and Youth in Preventing Social Degradation", "Vegetable Cultivation Method in Homestead", "Family Poultry Rearing and Cattle Fattening", "Dress Making Training", "Nakshi Kantha Training Course" and "The role of books in knowledge development is immense", participation in book fair festivals is ongoing at the Upazila and educational institutions to improve the quality of education.

Founder of Jubo Amar Smrity Pathagar, Amaranjan Majumder, has been engaged in social work from 2024 to 2026 ongoing. He sought blessings from all and expressed his expectation to remain engaged in the development of society.
