  Triennial Conference of Bangabandhu Cultural Council held

Ahsan Ullah Moni President, Avi Chowdhury Secretary elected

MT Desk: The 7th National Council (Triennial Conference 2023-2026) of Bangabandhu Cultural Parishad was held. A colorful program was organized on the occasion of the three-year conference of this traditional organization in the music and dance auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Bangladesh National Parliament Deputy Speaker Advt Shamsul Haque Tuku MP was present as the chief guest at the conference.

Bangladesh Awami League Advisory Council member Md Rashidul Alam inaugurated the program by singing the national anthem and flying pigeons. The main discussant was National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Moshiur Rahman. Former Railways Minister Bir Muktijoddha Md. Mujibul Haque MP, President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Omar Farooq, FBCCI Director, and Molla Group Chairman Sahidul Haque Molla CIP, Dr. Akhil Poddar, and others were present as special guests. The conference was presided over by Bangabandhu Cultural Parishad Central Committee President Ahsan Ullah Moni. Avi Chowdhury, General Secretary of Bangabandhu Cultural Parishad, moderated the event.

The Deputy Speaker said we have to build up our future generation with unwavering faith in the ideals of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the leadership of Bangabandhu`s daughter Deshartva Sheikh Hasina.

In the 7th National Council of Bangabandhu Cultural Council, veteran freedom fighter Ahsan Mani was announced as the president, and Avi Chowdhury as the general secretary for the next three years (2023-2026). Representatives of 25 districts participated in the conference. Artists of Dhaka City and District participated in the cultural event.
