Fast bowler Nahid Rana felt no problem to play cricket continuously, saying that he knows when to stop.

Nahid`s workload came into the fore after Rangpur Riders made him available in their all matches when there is norm that a fast bowler with raw pace like him should be given proper rest.

"A cricketer knows well about his workload. A cricketer knows well about his body and when to stop. I think I feel well at this point," Nahid Rana told the reporters today after Rangpur`s practice session at MA Aziz Stadium here.

"Rangpur Riders team management assisted me in this regard and the BCB is also looking after me. Above all everything is going well so far."

Nahid Rana shot into the limelight during a Test series against Pakistan by unsettling the home side batters with raw pace. His bowling was key in helping the side win the second Test and thereby clinch the historical series.

Since then he is playing cricket continuously and so the question raised whether a fast bowler like him should play all matches.

Generally every country has a common policy to rotate the fast bowlers to give them proper rest and make them ready for the crucial matches.

Nahid Rana admitted that every player needs rest not only physically but also mentally.

"There is no denying fact that every player needs rest to keep him fresh. Not only physically, a player needs rest in mentally also," he said, adding that the Rangpur Riders team management is sincere enough about his case.

"I feel well physically and Rangpur also are helping me in this regard. They are not putting pressure on me. They rather said when you need rest, just tell us. So when I will feel that I need rest, I will tell them."

Rangpur Riders assistant coach Mohammad Ashraful also said they are careful about Nahid Rana`s workload.

"He is desperate to play. He is young, extremely talented and knows well how to maintain himself but of course a fast bowler needs rest," Ashraful said.

"We are careful about not putting pressure on him. We are not insisting him also to come to practice regularly. A few days ago after the Sylhet phase of BPL, he sought rest from practice, saying that he wants to take rest whole day. So we allowed him."
