Int`l Squash tournament to be held in July

(BSS) - RFL-ASI-5th Int`l Squash tournament will be held from July 26-30 in the capital with the participation of seven countries.

Talking to BSS today (Saturday), Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation general secretary Brig Gen G M Quamrul Islam (Retd) said seven countries, including host Bangladesh have already confirmed their participation in the meet.
He said the number of participating countries may increase later stage.

Quamrul said the tournament would be held as part of preparation for the upcoming SA Games.

"We have planned to organize some national and international competitions before the SA Games and with this continuation the BKSP Cup Squash competition will be held from May 28-29 in Chattogram and we have also planned to organise a national squash competition in August. All will be held organise as part of SA Games preparation." Quamrul said.

The seven countries that have confirmed their participation are Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Pakistan, Oman, India and host Bangladesh.
