Ex-President Hamid leaves country 9-month after fall of AL govt

Former President Abdul Hamid has left the country, nine months after the fall of the Awami League government following a mass uprising. He departed on a Thai Airways flight at 3:05 am on Thursday (May 7). Immigration authorities at the Hazrat Shahjalal Internation Airport confirmed the matter to Jago News at 10:15 am. According to sources, Abdul Hamid is in very poor health. .....
