Sports adviser stresses forming football foundation for future

(BSS) - Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain today stressed making football foundation for future saying tomorrow`s football is being rooted in the joint efforts of the sports ministry and Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).

“Now our expectations are much higher . . . Now it is the time to lay the foundation of regional football and build a strong ecosystem,” he said in his verified facebook post.

In another post, Asif Mahmud, also LGRD and co-operatives adviser said, “In the Bangladesh-Singapore match, the red and green jersey of Bangladesh team, is not just a jersey, it is a symbol of our dreams, courage and potential. The match has swept millions of football lovers into frenzy.

Win or lose, this support will take Bangladesh to unique heights one day.”

He also highlighted the theme song of Tarunyer Utsab ‘Amra Tarun Jara Uchu Kore Shir, Swapna Dekhai Ek Noya Prithibir . . . Esho Desh Bodlai Prithibi Bodlai’.
