International Mother`s Day observed at Phulpur

Md. Mijanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur: A discussion meeting was held on the occasion of World Mother`s Day observed at Phulpur on the theme of "Sheikh Hasina`s Message, Women and Men Equality".

Under the chairmanship of Upazila NirbahiOfficer M Sazzadul Hasan at the Upazila Parishad conference room on Sunday, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Amit Roy, Phulpur police station officer-in-charge Abdullah Al Mamun, Upazila Women`s Vice Chairman Rokeya Parveen Lucky, Upazila Women`s Affairs Officer Armana Haque, Phulpur women`s degree college principal Rowshan Ara Begum, brave freedom fighter Abdul Baten Sarkar and others spoke at the meeting. Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Kamrul Hasan Kamu moderates the program.
