MT Desk: Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister Faisal bin Farhan discussed the Gaza situation with his French and Iranian counterparts during separate calls on Sunday.

Prince Faisal thanked French minister Catherine Colonna for her country`s support for the United Nations resolution issued last Friday which aims for an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of a humanitarian truce.

The minister additionally discussed developments in Gaza with his Iranian counterpart Hussein Amir Abdullahian and the importance of the international community to achieve a ceasefire and protect civilians in light of the escalating pace of military operations.
