Chief Adviser opens Environment Fair, Tree Fair

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today (June 25) inaugurated the `Environment Fair-2025` and the `National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair-2025` at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.

He also distributed the National Environment Award, Wildlife Conservation Award, and Tree Plantation Award to individuals and organizations for their contributions to environmental protection and wildlife conservation.

Profit-sharing cheques were handed over to beneficiaries of the Social Forestry Programme.

Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan announced the Environment Fair will run from June 25–27, while the Tree Fair will continue until July 24. Both fairs will remain open daily from 9 am to 9 pm.

Nationwide activities include awareness campaigns, competitions, sapling distributions, and community outreach to promote a greener Bangladesh.
