Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), on Friday, forecasted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 AM.
According to a BMD bulletin issued on Friday morning, "Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions.
"Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions," read the bulletin, adding that day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded at 33 degrees Celsius in Dimla under Rangpur Division, while today`s minimum temperature was 22.8 degrees Celsius in Tangail.
The sun will set today at 6:50 PM and rise tomorrow at 5:19 AM in the capital.
