One can know whether he is a carrier of this disease by HP electrophoresis test from Bangladesh Thalassemia Society by spending only a few amounts of money. Only creating awareness among the mass people can prevent the birth of thalassemia affected children by stopping the marriage of a carrier with another carrier.
