Bashir Al Mamun In Ctg : Four people have died after falling into septic tanks in Dhanialapara, Kadamtali, and Noapara, Raojan, in the city.Two incidents occurred on Friday (June 26) afternoon.

The two deceased in Dhanialapara are Shakib of Sadar Upazila of Noakhali and Hridoy Mia (25) of Char Elahi area of ​​Companiganj Upazila.

Shahinur Alam, officer-in-charge of Doublemooring Police Station, said that two workers died after getting trapped in a septic tank on the ground floor of a multi-storey building under construction next to the American Building and Lucky Mansion in Dhanialapara`s Chota Masjid By Lane in the afternoon and suffocating while working.

Police and fire service recovered their bodies and sent them to the morgue of Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Meanwhile, two workers died at the same time while cleaning a septic tank in Noapara area of ​​Raozan upazila. The two deceased were identified as Pradeep Das and Samiran Das.

According to the Raozan Police Station, the two died on the spot after being exposed to toxic gas while working on a septic tank.
