Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad is scheduled to join the state funeral of late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran.

He is likely to be in Tehran on July 3 at the invitation of Iranian Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, a diplomatic source told UNB.

The funeral of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will begin in Tehran on ⁠July 4, and he will be buried in his home town of Mashhad on July 9, according to Iranian state media.
