Moin Mahmud : The Outsourcing Employees Unity Council has four demands, including the abolition of the outsourcing system. On this occasion, the Bangladesh Outsourcing Employees Unity Council organized a press conference on Saturday (June 27). Bangladesh Outsourcing Employees Unity Council President Md. Rafiqul Islam read out a written statement at the press conference at the Oikya Parishad office in Tejgaon. In addition, General Secretary Md. Jannatun Naeem and other leaders of the organization were present.
The written statement mentioned four main demands. The demands are:-
* Abolish the modern slave system of outsourcing contracting, contract employees with their own organizations and gradually integrate employees.
* Reinstatement with payment of salaries and allowances of employees dismissed due to tender changes or any other unreasonable reasons.
* All temporary employees should be brought under the honorarium salary structure and all allowances including rations should be ensured.
* To Investigate all cases where employees have been laid off in violation of prevailing labor laws, Government Outsourcing - 2025 policies and guidelines, take legal action against those involved, and reinstate the laid-off employees.
