SSC exams likely in April, HSC in June

The government plans to start the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations in mid-April and the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent exams in the last week of June next year.

The SSC exams will be held under complete syllabus, while the HSC to take place under revised syllabus.

Officials of the Secondary and Higher Education Directorate and Dhaka Education Board informed this on Sunday (October 27).

Professor Abul Bashar, exam controller of Dhaka Education Board, said they are preparing to hold the SSC and its equivalent examinations after the month of Ramadan or Eid-ul-Fitr which may be observed on April 1.

He said they also plan to hold the HSC and equivalent examinations after the Eid-ul-Azha that will be observed on June 7.
