Indian police martyr one Kashmiri youth in Jammu

MT Desk: Indian forces’ personnel martyred a Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim youth, identified as Pervez Ahmad, was killed by Indian police during a search operation in the Surre Chak Phallian Mandal Satwari, outskirts of the district.
The civil activist, Talib Hussain, during a protest against the killing of the youth, told media men outside Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, that the youth was killed by police without any reason when he was travelling with his friend on a motorcycle in Satwari area.
Police said the body was later shifted to Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, the administration of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, led by New Delhi-appointed Lieutenant Governor, has seized the properties of two more Kashmiris in Baramulla and Kupwara districts.

According to Kashmir Media Service, on the orders of the administration, the police have seized three kanals and three marla land and a residential house of Javed Ahmad Dar in Reban Sopore area of Baramulla district under the black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act UAPA).

The Indian police also seized 2 kanals and 14 marla land of a citizen, Mutwali Paswal, in Batpora Haihama area of?Kupwara district under UAPA.

Since the abrogation of the special status of occupied Kashmir in August 2019, the BJP-led Hindutva regime has intensified its campaign to evict Kashmiris from their homes and lands. The move is aimed at harassing and economically weakening the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir. So far, this year, the BJP regime has confiscated more than a hundred properties belonging to Kashmiris.
