Bangladesh saw an 11.1 percent year-on-year increase in remittance inflows, with $2,166 million received in the first 26 days of October, according to data released by Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Monday.
During the same period last year, the country had received $1,949 million in remittances.
From July to October 26 of the current 2025-26 fiscal year, expatriates sent a total of $9,752 million, up from $8,492 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
