Teenage boy electrocuted in Netrakona

(BSS) - A teenage boy was electrocuted at Nayapara village under Purbadhala upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Tamim Mia, 15, son of Md. Saidul Islam of the village.

Tamim accidentally touched an open electric wire while washing his hands next to the water motor after finishing his housework around 9.30 am. As a result, he was electrocuted and seriously injured.

Later, his family members quickly rescued him and took him to Purbadhala Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Purbadhala Police Station Mohammad Nurul Alam confirmed the matter.
