Md Mafidul Islam Sarkar: Zinnat Ara Ifa, born on January 13 in the village of Madhyapara in Kishoreganj, is a young entrepreneur, writer, poet, and social development worker. From an early age, she has been engaged in literature and social service, inspired by values of humanity, culture, and social justice.
She serves as the Director of Million Group and is the founder of the non-profit organization Great Heart Foundation, which focuses on humanitarian and welfare activities. She has also worked as a teacher in schools and colleges for several years and is associated with the Lions Club as an honored member.
Zinnat Ara Ifa is actively involved in various social and charitable initiatives both in Bangladesh and abroad. Through her organization, she has contributed to relief efforts, environmental programs, education support, and aid for disadvantaged communities. Notably, her organization provided emergency humanitarian assistance during the 2023 earthquake in Turkey through international channels.
Her activities include tree plantation programs, distribution of winter clothes and food, educational support for orphans, sewing training for underprivileged women, and assistance for medical treatment and disaster relief.
Alongside her social work, she is also a poet and writer. Her first solo poetry book, “Hridoy Vangar Shobdo”, was published at the Ekushey Book Fair 2023, followed by her second poetry collection, “Jayetu”. She is actively engaged in Bengali literature, aiming to bring creativity and social awareness through her writing.
Academically, she has pursued higher education in multiple fields. She completed her studies at Madhyapara Di-Mukhi High School, Katiadi Government College, and later earned an M.A. in English from Uttara University. She also completed an M.S.S. in Political Science from the University of Dhaka and an LL.B. from the National University. She continues to pursue knowledge and personal development.
