  Govt fixes rawhide prices ahead of Eid-ul-Azha

Ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha, the government has fixed the price of cow rawhide at Tk 60-65 per square foot in Dhaka and Tk 55-60 outside the capital.

Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin shared this information in a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday afternoon, May 25.

Besides, the price of goatskins have been set at Tk 22-27 per square foot across the country and that of she-goat at Tk 20-22.

This year, the minimum price of salt-applied cow rawhide has been fixed at Tk 1,150, and but it will be Tk 1,350 in Dhaka.
