  Strict security beefed up at Secretariat, visitors not allowed

Online Report : A strict security has been beefed up at the Bangladesh Secretariat centering the ongoing protest of the officials and employees.

Members of the Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) have been deployed at the main entrance of the secretariat.

BGB members were also found in front of the Secretariat.

None, except officials and employees, are allowed inside as per pre-announcement.

Meanwhile, Army personnel have been deployed around the administrative complex.

Two armoured personnel carriers (APCs) were seen parked outside the Secretariat premises.

A large number of government officials and employees, under the banner of `Bangladesh Secretariat Officers and Employees Oikya Forum` demonstrated inside the Secretariat on Monday.

They have announced plans to hold another protest rally today.
