Expert Tajul Islam’s opinion: OIC has to sit with Trump to stop war in Gaza, just condemnation not enough

Abdul Khaleque Khandker

Mr. Tajul Islam, an international affairs expert and chief adviser to The Muslim Times, said that the OIC’s condemnation and anxieties about the genocide in Gaza on children in particular, is not enough to stop war in Gaza and set peace. They have to play an active role so that lasting peace in Gaza returns.
Tajul Islam said to stop war in Gaza, first thing is inevitable that is the participation of the U.S. President Donald Trump in this matter.
Just as Trump has taken initiatives with Ukrainian chief and Russian chief to stop the Ukraine-Russia war, Gaza war without the mediation of Trump will not produce any results. OIC is trying to settle; it is good but they have to sit with Trump to stop the war in Gaza permanently.
This Bangladeshi expert believes that even if the world`s 800 crore people want to declare Gaza as independent, it will not be possible until Trump and the United States give consent. So it is important the participation of Trump above all; otherwise peace will never return between Israel and Hamas. And Gaza will not be declared an independent state. Thus, it is now necessary to sit with the Trump administration with the OIC and bring peace.
The expert Tajul again expressed the opinion that peace and independence will never return to Palestine without the participation of the Trump. Thousands of children, women and innocent people are being killed in Gaza, but the rich and influential countries in the Arabian land have no strong role. They are greedy so they fear to oppose America. They do not want to lose power by opposing America. During Trump`s recent travelling in Arabian territory, Arab kings pleased Trump with various gifts. But they did not press Trump to take a strong stand against Trump`s friend Israel, because they did not want to make Trump unhappy. So if the Arab leaders really want the welfare of the Palestinians, then Tajul Islam insisted that they should sit at the discussion table with Trump.
Meanwhile, according to media observation agencies, the ongoing war in Gaza is the most horrific for journalists. About two years of Israeli attacks have been killed in about 200 media activists.
Tajul Islam experts are deeply concerned about the current situation in the Gaza Valley. China condemns all such activities- including violence against journalists.
Israel should immediately stop military operations in Gaza and achieve a widespread and permanent ceasefire as soon as possible. The Bangladeshi expert also believes that the country`s humanitarian supply should be fully restored, preventing the greater humanitarian crisis and reducing tension as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, news reports that at least five Palestinians were killed in the Israeli Air Force attack in Gaza. Twenty -two others were injured in 24 hours from Sunday evening to Monday evening.
The Gaza Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday (August 28th) night.
The ministry said five of the dead were killed in Israeli forces. The remaining 20 were killed in the firing of the soldiers to collect food. The statement also said, "From Monday morning to evening, 5 bodies and 12 were injured in various hospitals in Gaza." However, the actual number is likely to be higher. Because many are trapped under the rubble, but due to lack of equipment and manpower, rescue is not possible. `
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has been launching a military operation in Gaza since October 2021. According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of casualties in Gaza has risen to 12 thousand 5 till Monday. One lakh 5 thousand 20 Palestinians were injured.
