Actress Gulshan Ara passes away

Television actress Gulshan Ara Ahmed has passed away following a heart attack. She breathed her last on Tuesday morning.

The news was confirmed through a post shared on her official Facebook page, stating: “My mother, Gulshan Ara Ahmed, passed away this morning at 6:40. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. She will be laid to rest today in Brahmanbaria.”

Renowned director Kajal Arefin Ome also expressed his grief in a heartfelt post, recalling her memorable performance: “In ‘Bachelor Point’, she played the role of Kabila’s mother—the Chairman from Noakhali. We will miss you, Apa. May Allah forgive all her sins and grant her Jannatul Ferdous. Ameen.”
