Ex-PM Hasina’s PO arrested

Police have detained SM Mizanur Rahman, the former personal officer (PO) of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, from the Science Laboratory area in the capital on Wednesday night (May 7).

Confirming the arrest to Jago News, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of New Market Police Station Mohsin Uddin Atik said that Mizanur Rahman, who served as Sheikh Hasina’s personal officer, is an accused in a murder case.

The OC added that Mizanur Rahman will be produced before the court on Thursday (May 8) with a petition for remand.
