BNP launches nationwide tree plantation campaign
  Date : 15-06-2025

The BNP and its affiliated bodies have launched a nationwide tree plantation drive to mark World Environment Day, following a call from Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

As part of this initiative, various BNP-affiliated student and other organizations have undertaken coordinated plantation efforts across the country.

In a statement, Tarique Rahman stressed the need to combat environmental pollution and build a greener future.

As part of the 15-day campaign, district units of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) in Cumilla, Bhola, and Gaibandha held coordinated plantation drives at schools and public spaces.

In Gaibandha, the local Hindu Buddhist Christian Kalyan Front also participated, planting trees at crematoriums and schools to promote environmental awareness.
