M. Naseemul Hye elected president of ICSB

M. Naseemul Hye FCS has been elected as the president of Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) recently.

He served as the Sr. Vice President of ICSB for two terms in the past.

He did his Post-Graduation from Dhaka University in accounting and PGDFM from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM). He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB).

He is currently holding the position of Deputy Managing Director & Chief Compliance Officer of Meghna Cement Mills Plc. In addition, he is also Chief Executive Officer of Bashundhara Foundation (BF), a philanthropic venture, running interest-free microcredit programs in rural areas of Bangladesh. BF also run hospitals and health service programs aimed for low & mid income groups of the society in different areas of this country. He is also a Member of the Governing Council of ActionAid International/ Bangladesh and Treasurer of ActionAid Bangladesh Society.

In his 37 years long professional career he served many of local and multi-national organizations including CARE-International/Bangladesh, UNICEF, NRECA International Ltd., German Bangla JV Food Ltd., Continental Insurance Plc. etc. in various capacities.

Mr. Naseem is an adjunct faculty of ICSB and Bangladesh Insurance Academy and associated with many local and international socio-cultural and philanthropic organizations.
