JaPa`s progress unstoppable despite violence: Mamun
  Date : 30-08-2025

Jatiya Party (JaPa) Secretary General Kazi Mamunur Rashid has stated that no amount of mob violence, arson, or looting will hinder the party`s progress.

In a press statement released on Saturday, Mamun criticised the interim government for failing to meet the country`s expectations, emphasizing that the people no longer wish to see them in power.

Mamun urged for an immediate transfer of power to a caretaker government to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful election, warning that the country could face serious consequences if the current political crisis continues.

He also called on Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman to take necessary actions for the country`s security, especially after a reported attempt to form a mob at the Jatiya Party’s central office.

In a separate announcement, the party introduced a new convening committee for its student wing, Jatiya Chhatra Samaj, aimed at organizing student leaders from universities and colleges across the country.
