Light rain likely in Ctg, Sylhet, dry weather elsewhere

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions from 9:00 am today, according to a weather bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) this morning.

Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky at times, the bulletin said.

It also noted that night temperatures may fall slightly, while day temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged across Bangladesh.


On Wednesday, the highest temperature was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius in Syedpur, while the lowest was 18.9 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:16 pm today and rise at 6:08 am tomorrow, the BMD added.
