Six more Covid-19 case reported in Ctg

(BSS) - The port city has reported six more Covid-19 case out of 129 tests in the last 24 hours in the district.

With these new cases, the total number of Coronavirus cases in Chattogram has reached 50 in the past 12 days, according to Dr. Jahangir Alam, Civil Surgeon of Chattogram.

Dr. Jahangir Alam mentioned that Coronavirus tests are currently being conducted in six different laboratories including Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) RT-PCR lab.

Currently, 37 infected patients are undergoing treatment at various designated hospitals here.

Out of the total 50 corona infected people, 43 are residents of the port city and the remaining seven are residents of different upazilas. So far, one person has died in Chattogram district.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that the Health Department is ready to prevent corona infection.

He urged people from all walks of life to avoid crowds and wear masks.
