Man killed in Natore road mishap

A man died after being hit with a roadside tree at Baraigram upazila in Natore district on Saturday.

The deceased is identified as Mominul Islam, 32, son of Asim Uddin of Bhutchora village under Kaonia upazila in Rangpur district. He was an NGO worker by profession.

According to locals, Mominul was going to a customer`s house with his colleague Shariful on a motorcycle. Suddenly he hit a roadside tree on the Zonail-Rajapur road and died on the spot. The other was injured seriously.

Locals rescued the injured and sent to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for treatment.

Baraigram Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Golam Sarwar Hossain confirmed the incident.
