Five people were killed as a bus rammed a three-wheeler, locally known as Mahindra, in Mymensingh’s Phulpur on Friday night, June 20.

The incident occurred near Courier Bridge around 8:30am, Phulpur police station’s officer-in-charge Md Abdul Hadi told News.

The death toll may rise, he added.

After the incident, a group of agitated people torched the bus.
