Stands with Palestine – A special Conference by MASTUL Foundation

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, MASTUL Foundation is set to organize a unique and significant conference titled “Stand with Palestine” at the Celebrity Convention Hall in Gulshan, Dhaka. The announcement was made by the organizing body, MASTUL Foundation.

In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, one of Bangladesh’s leading humanitarian organizations, MASTUL Foundation, in collaboration with Al Zakat Sadaqah Foundation, is hosting this special conference to express solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The primary objective of this conference is to express our humanitarian solidarity and active support for the people of Palestine. It will also serve as a platform to explore how more effective assistance can be provided from Bangladesh. Since Ramadan 2024, MASTUL Foundation has been delivering food aid on behalf of the people of Bangladesh to the war-torn residents of Gaza. Every day, over 250 individuals, mostly orphaned children and widows are being provided with free meals. In addition, the foundation is supplying essential medical equipment and medicines, which are critically needed for the treatment of the injured and sick.

Chief Operating Officer of MASTUL Foundation Farhana Yesmeen stated: Through this initiative, we aim to draw the attention of not only the general public but also policymakers, which will help foster large-scale humanitarian efforts in support of the Palestinian people

Founder of MASTUL Foundation Kazi Reaz Rahman expressed in a statement: Our support for the people of Gaza has always been unwavering — in the past, present, and it will continue in the future. Though our resources are limited, we remain steadfast in our commitment to stand beside the people of Gaza during this difficult time. We have received immense love and cooperation from the people of Bangladesh, and once again, we urge everyone to come forward to respond to this humanitarian crisis.

The conference will be graced by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Yousef Ramadan, Ambassador of Palestine to Bangladesh, as the Guest of Honour. Distinguished Islamic scholars from home and abroad, several government officials, social workers, representatives from NGOs, development experts, academics, medical professionals, donors and well-wishers of MASTUL Foundation, as well as some Palestinian students currently studying in Bangladesh, will also be in attendance.

MASTUL Foundation has launched a long-term initiative to help rebuild the future of Gaza. This includes the construction of orphanages, the provision of medical assistance, and empowerment programs for widows to help them become self-reliant.
