  Eight July uprising martyrs’ families get financial aid in Dinajpur

(BSS) – The district administration on Tuesday afternoon distributed financial assistance among eight martyrs’ families of the 2024 July Uprising.

Deputy Commissioner M Rafikul Islam handed over savings certificates of Taka 10 lakh to each of the martyrs’ families at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.

The district administration distributed the savings certificates to the families of martyrs in July Uprising as a donation from the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Noor-e- Alam and Assistant Commissioner of the Deputy Commissioner`s Office Shahana Afroz were present at the distribution ceremony.

The members of the martyr`s family who received savings certificates are: Md. Muslem Uddin, father of Shaheed Rabiur Islam Rahul of Raniganj Uttarpara village in Dinajpur Sadar Upazila, Subir Kumar Sen, father of Shaheed Rudra Sen of Paharpur Mohalla in Dinajpur Municipality, Mosha Sumaiya Akhter, wife of Shaheed Md. Al Amin Sarkar of Sengram village in Birganj Upazila, Arisha Afroz, mother of Shaheed Md. Ashiqul Islam, resident of G Block in Banasree area of Dhaka, Md. Omar Faruk, father of Shaheed Md. Sumon Patwari of Lakshipur village in Chirirbandar Upazila of Dinajpur, Sharmin Akhter, wife of Shaheed Asadul Haque Babu of Nona village in Birol Upazila, Mosha Shahanaz Akhter, wife of Shaheed Md. Ziaur Rahman of M Nagar Bari village in Bhandara Union of the same upazila and Md. Mizanur Rahman, father of martyr Md. Masum Reza Antar of Madhya Karla village.
