  Tarique Rahman Will Return to the Country Soon: Mirza Fakhrul

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has shared more "good news" after the announcement of the meeting between BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in London.

He delivered this good news to journalists during a conversation at the Chairperson`s office in Gulshan today, Tuesday (June 10).

Mirza Fakhrul stated that Tarique Rahman is returning to the country soon. However, he did not specify the exact date of his return.

Regarding Khaleda Zia`s physical condition, he said, "Alhamdulillah, she seems much better physically than before... the doctors have said so. She is much better."

Meanwhile, the meeting between Dr. Yunus and Tarique Rahman will take place this Friday (June 13). Mirza Fakhrul said the Standing Committee has welcomed this meeting. He emphasized that the meeting holds significant national and international importance and potential, suggesting it could lead to many new dimensions.

He informed that the party`s Standing Committee has authorized Tarique Rahman to make decisions on any matter.

The BNP Secretary General expressed that they believe this meeting will facilitate the resolution of many problems. He added that a realistic possibility has emerged to overcome the political stalemate, and dialogue between these two leaders presents a crucial opportunity for national interest.
