Food security of the country can be ensred through sustainable management - Aminul Haque.

Kamrul Hasan: Former captain of the national football team, Sports Affairs Secretary of the BNP Central Executive Committee, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convener and BNP nomination aspirant for Dhaka-16 (Pallabi-Rupnagar) constituency, Aminul Haque, has said that food security of the country can be ensured through sustainable management of fish farming and fishery resources. The former footballer made these comments while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the National Fisheries Party 2025 fish fry release program organized by the Dhaka Metropolitan North National Fisheries Party on Thursday afternoon.

"Such initiatives to protect fisheries are very timely and commendable," he said, adding that the implementation and expansion of fisheries production is essential to meet the demand for meat in the country. It also paves the way for prosperity in national life.
He expressed his determination to continue his activities in the future for the rights and professional development of fishermen by standing by them.

He also said that addressing the interim government in the country to resolve the rule of law and the crisis, it is not at all unreasonable to take any decision that can harm the aspirations of the country and the nation. Therefore, it is not indifference. The government must play a role in implementing the independence of the country and the benefits of the 24-day mass uprising. National elections are very important to ensure the right to vote, the long-desired dream of the people.
He was of the opinion that if the national elections are delayed, the government will face questions from the countrymen.
He said that Tarique Rahman was declared the acting chairman of BNP to fulfill the dream of martyr President Ziaur Rahman. We must forget all differences and unite to ensure the victory of the rice ears by implementing the 31-point campaign to repair the state structure and maintain peace and order in the country.
He sought everyone`s prayers for the speedy recovery and longevity of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
At that time, leading figures of the central, district, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, leaders of the Nationalist Fishermen`s Party and local dignitaries were present.
At the end of the meeting, a large amount of fish fry was released in several open water bodies to meet the demand for meat.
