BNP believes in implementing actions, not just promises : Habu Bhuiyan

kamrul Hasan: “BNP is not just a party of promises, BNP believes in implementing actions” — said Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Habu, former organizing secretary of Manikganj district BNP and member of the district BNP convening committee.

He made these comments while distributing leaflets with the paddy sheaf symbol, mass communication and road meetings on behalf of district BNP convener Afroza Khanam Rita in Boro Bazar, Swarnakarpatti, Dasra, Krishnapur union of Sadar upazila and Rajibpur Bazar of Manikganj city on Wednesday afternoon.

Habu Bhuiyan said, “The nationalist party has never broken its promises. BNP has always worked for the welfare of the country and the nation. The shining examples of this are martyred President Ziaur Rahman, national leader Begum Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Deshnayak Tarique Rahman.”

He further said that despite being subjected to various forms of oppression and torture for the past 17 years, BNP leaders and activists have not backed down from dedicating themselves to the welfare of the country and the nation. This path will continue in the future as well.

Regarding the current political situation, he said, "Free and fair elections are necessary to realize the long-desired dreams of the people. But a group is engaged in malicious attempts to sabotage the elections by destroying freedom and democracy. BNP will never tolerate evil forces."

He called on the party leaders and activists to build a united public opinion and resist all conspiracies. At the same time, he advised them to work together to fulfill the dreams of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, implement the 31-point plan to repair the state structure announced by Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and further strengthen the organizational structure.

Habu Bhuiyan wished for the speedy recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia and prayed for the good health and long life of Tarique Rahman.

Kabirul Islam Kabir, former senior vice-president of the district Jubo Dal and general secretary of the Manikganj branch of Lions Club International, Manikganj Jewelers Association president Tapan Kumar Nag, general secretary Mohidul Islam, senior joint secretary Shyamal Das, Krishnapur Union BNP general secretary M Malek, Jubo Dal president Omar Faruk and leaders of various levels of BNP and allied organizations were present at the mass communication program.
