Indian police attach properties of four more Kashmiris in IIOJK
  Date : 15-07-2025

MT Desk: Indian police attached civilian properties of four more Kashmiris under draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in Ganderbal and Bandipora districts in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, police, acting on the orders of New Delhi-imposed administration in IOJK led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, attached the agricultural land measuring 9 kanals and 1.5 marlas, worth Rs 3.2 crore INR, owned by three individuals identified as Farooq Ahmad Rather, Noor Mohammad Parray and Mohammad Maqbool Sofi, all resident of Ganderbal district .
Meanwhile, in Bandipora, Indian police attached a residential house and agricultural land measuring 01 kanal and 18.5 marlas, worth Rs 3.59 crore INR, belonging to Hashir Rafiq Parray, a resident of Patushay area of the district.
Since the illegal abrogation of IOJK’s special status in August 2019, the Indian BJP government has intensified its campaign to dispossess Kashmiris of their homes and lands. This policy is aimed at economically weakening the people of Kashmir.
Furthermore, in the Sopore area of Baramulla district, police have seized bank credits totaling Rs 18.93 lakh INR under UAPA.
Meanwhile, President of Pakistan Markazi Muslim League Khalid Masood Sindhu has said that the situation is changing and India should read the writing on the wall as it cannot maintain its illegal rule over the Kashmiris for long.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Masood Sindhu in a statement on the occasion of Kashmir Martyrs’ Day said the sacrifices of the martyrs will soon bear fruit and the Kashmiris will get freedom from the usurping India.
He said the sacrifices of 22 youth to complete the call to prayer outside the Central Jail in Srinagar in 1931 is one of the most glorious and extraordinary sacrifices in the history of Kashmir. He said the sacrifices of these martyrs not only became the foundation of Kashmir’s freedom but also the guiding light of the freedom movement.
Masood Sindhu said Kashmir’s freedom and accession to Pakistan are not political slogans but an ideological and religious duty that our great leaders had decided even before the establishment of Pakistan.
He said Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah declared Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan, and even today the Markazi Muslim League stands firmly on this ideology. “Kashmir is our jugular vein, and our relationship with the Kashmiris is based on La ilaha illallah,” he added.
He said the Pakistani people stand by its Kashmiri brothers and the Markazi Muslim League will be their voice at every national and international forum.
