  Date : 29-07-2025

Kamrul Hasan: There is no alternative to the nationalist party BNP in building a developed country and a prosperous nation - Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convener Md. Aminul Haque has commented.

He made these comments as the chief guest at a discussion meeting and prayer meeting organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North JASAS on the occasion of the first martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Jasim Uddin, a member of the Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangstriktika Sangstha (JASAS) of Uttara Purba Police Station, who was killed in the July 24 mass uprising, at the Nayapaltan Maulana Bhashani Auditorium on Monday afternoon.

Under the chairmanship of Shariful Islam Swapan, convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North Nationalist Social and Cultural Organization (JASAS) and moderated by Anwar Hossain, joint convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North JASAS, the event was attended by JASAS Central Executive Committee convener filmmaker Helal Khan, member secretary Zakir Hossain Rokon, guest of honor SM Jahangir Alam, joint convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP and BNP nomination candidate for Dhaka-18 constituency, former vice-president of JASAS Central Executive Committee and BNP nomination candidate for Manikganj-1 constituency, Advocate Aminul Haque, joint convener of JASAS Mohammad Liaqat Ali, Mohammad Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, (JASAS) leader Mazharul Islam Payel, and leading figures of BNP and all its affiliates.

He said that the dictator Hasina was forced to leave the country on August 5 due to the BNP-students-people`s uprising. New Bangladesh was formed. While participating in this movement, the brave soldier Jasimuddin, a member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Social and Cultural Organization (JASAS), was martyred in police firing on July 28. The nation will remember with respect the martyrs whose blood made this country free from suffering.
He said that after the fall of the dictator, the banned political party of fascist Hasina is making various attempts to destabilize the country, further threatening the daily lives of the peace-loving common people. He is of the opinion that they are continuing this anarchy in the country to destroy the peace and order of the country and delay the election process.
He said that in order to maintain peace and order in the country, resolve the crisis and ensure the right of people to vote, everyone must forget all differences and unite to resist those evil forces.
He said that the banned Awami League supporters, capitalizing on the recent incident of a fighter jet crash in the Diyabari area of Uttara, have carried out a rampage in the country`s most important establishment, the Secretariat. This is very bad for the country and the nation. They are trying to erase the independence and July Revolution by committing murder, vandalism, and arson in the country. He also strongly demanded that the interim government ensure exemplary punishment for those involved in these incidents.

He advised everyone to play a role in implementing the 31-point plan to repair the state structure proposed by the country`s leader Tarique Rahman to fulfill the dream of martyred President Ziaur Rahman.
He called on leaders and activists at all levels to build a united public opinion to further strengthen the party`s organizational structure to ensure the victory of paddy.

At the end of the discussion, special prayers were offered for the departed souls of all martyrs including Shaheed Jasim Uddin, who died in the July Movement, the speedy recovery of the injured, the souls of those killed in the plane crash at Milestone School and College, condolences to the bereaved families, the speedy recovery of the injured, and the good health and long life of national leader Begum Khaleda Zia for the welfare of the country.
