Kamrul Hasan : There is no alternative to Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of BNP, in maintaining peace and order in the country and resolving the crisis and establishing the desired rights of the people, said SA Jinnah Kabir, a member of the BNP`s central executive committee, a senior member of the Manikganj district BNP convening committee and a candidate for the Paddy Sheaf nomination for Manikganj-1 seat.
On Monday afternoon, at the Nayabari High School ground in Utholi Union, Shibaloy, Manikganj, after the 31-point campaign to repair the state structure announced by Tarique Rahman, BNP organized in Wards 1, 2 and 3, he made this comment to party leaders, activists, supporters, ordinary voters and locals while visiting the area affected by the breach of the Jamuna adjacent to Paturia Ferry Ghat.
Jinnah said, "The dictator was forced to leave the country in the face of the mass movement of BNP-students-people under the guidance of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to realize the long-cherished dream of the common people. It is because of his foresight that we have a dictator-free Bangladesh today.
To maintain its success, to protect democracy and independence, we must ensure the right to vote in order to build a prosperous nation in the country.
He said, even though the dictator has been expelled from the country, his allies are still involved in various conspiracies.
He suggested that the party organizational structure be strengthened for the welfare of the country, including implementing the 31-point campaign to repair the state structure announced by the country`s hero Tarique Rahman.
He also said that in order to fulfill the dream of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, he called for building a united public opinion by forgetting all differences to ensure the victory of the rice sheaf in every constituency of Manikganj, known as the stronghold of BNP, and sought everyone`s prayers for the speedy recovery of national leader Begum Khaleda Zia and the good health and longevity of Tarique Rahman. Leading figures of district, upazila, union, ward BNP and all its affiliated organizations were present at the time.
