Two individuals were killed in a road crash in Feni district on early Friday morning.

The incident took place near Temuhani Bazar area on the Feni-Noakhali regional highway on early Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Mosharraf Hossain, 38, and Ekram Hossain, 32. They were siblings in relation and were working with Barzar Paint Company.

According to police and local sources, the duo were killed when a passenger bus crashed them while they were trying to rescue a fallen pickup van in a roadside ditch, leaving one dead on the spot and the other died on the way to the hospital.

Mohipal Highway Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Harun ur Rashid confirmed the incident and said that the bodies of the duo were handed over to their family upon request.
