4 killed in exchange of fire between two groups in Khagrachhari

At least four people have reportedly been killed during an exchange of fire between two groups in remote Naraichhari of Khagrachhari’s Dighinala upazila.

The gunfire took place around 8:30PM on Friday, said police.

According to Dighinala Police Station chief Md Zakaria, an armed group of 35 to 40 men under the command of JSS leader Joydev Chakma encountered the UPDF (Prasit Bikash Khisa faction) at Jora Sindhu Karbaripara of Naraichhari.
