Staff Correspondent: A total of 38 university freshmen and SSC students with GPA-5 received a reception from the Zhikut Foundation.
The grand reception was organized by the educational, literary, cultural and social welfare organization Jhikut Foundation at the Sirajdikhan Upazila Parishad auditorium on Friday, July 25 at 10 am. Among the recipients of the reception, 18 were freshmen from various public universities and 20 were students with SSC GPA-5.
The General Assembly of the Zhikut Foundation was presided over by UN ICT Officer (retd) Nazrul Islam.
Dr. Muhammad Jamir Hossain, a professor and researcher at Notre Dame University Bangladesh, was present as the main discussant at the event, which was organized by Ashraf Iqbal, General Secretary of the Central Council of the Jhikut Foundation and Editor of the Daily Munshiganj Barta.
Special guests present at the event included Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense Engineer Golam Maula PSM, Bangladesh Army Major Sifatul Alam, H Noor Foundation President Humayun Kabir Sagar, Patron Monthly Bikrampur Editor Syed Mahmud Hasan Mukut, Advisor General Secretary of the Constituent Assembly Member Family Sub Sector Commander Bir Muktijoddha Flight Lt. Jamal Uddin Chowdhury`s daughter Azma Chowdhury, Patron President of the Foundation Professor Dr. Iazuddin Ahmed, Academic Coordinator of Residential Model College Bahauddin Bahar, Patron Japan expatriate Md. Nurul Islam Khan M. Com, Prothom Alo`s chief photojournalist-featurer Kabir Hossain, advisor female entrepreneur Sanjida Hayat Dipa, advisor Dhaka University-based former advisor of the Bikrampur family Mortuza Al Ashrafi, among others.
