The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has recovered a firearm and a round of ammunition from Baghadanga village on Maheshpur border in Jhenaidah district.

Maheshpur 58 BGB Battalion Assistant Director Munshi Emdadur Rahman confirmed the information through a press release at 3:30 PM on Thursday.

A team led by JCO Subedar Atiar Rahman of Baghadanga BOP conducted an operation at around 12:30 PM. During the raid, they recovered a firearm and a bullet from a haystack in Baghadanga village. Later, the recovered items were handed over to Maheshpur police station for legal proceedings, the press release said.
